Go get a Steak at Hals.

Order the Lobster Lebeaux for an appetizer. Pretty sure its not on the menu, but its a must try if you go.

ETA: sorry, thought you said Atlanta. My bad.

Some of my favorites:

Last Resort
Cali N Titos (cash only and byob)
Catch 22
Pulaski Heights
Trappeze
Viva! Argentine Cuisine
Clocked

If you like breweries, Creature Comforts is right downtown. Terrapin is worth the visit too.

Sorry Paul, can't recommend Taqueria Del Sol. It's super cheap and the margs are cheaper than cheap, but the food is only mediocre in my opinion.

Their fried chicken and Memphis tacos are great. With margaritas by the liter to boot.

You and me are the only ones, I've been waging war on taqueria for years. Wife loves it, so we go weekly.

It's not bad or anything, I just don't understand what all the fuss is about

Agree.

Hey on a bit of a highjack, you mentioned that the only snake you have to worry about where you live is the copperhead. (i.e. no mocs).

Do you mind telling me in what area of town you live?

NW Atlanta. We live not far from the Hooch and Peachtree Creek, in an area of Fulton that DNR says is out of their range. I think that's likely true particularly on the hooch due to the colder water temps.

I've read a lot of people's thoughts on this, primarily because I fly fish the Chattahoochee above the city. You'll occasionally get someone who says they saw one, but I've never heard of a definitive sighting/bite/etc. in the area. My guess is that this is more of a reliable guideline than a scientific rule, but in general I think it holds up.

Gotcha.

Ya the hooch is darn cold.

I'm asking because we are moving to Lake Arrowhead. I think Alatoona has them based on a site I saw (probably the DNR site). LA is around the borderline it seems.

I think you'd technically be out of the range.

Here's where I saw that
