Not ribeyes, but Rouses has prime T-bones for $10.99lb. I’m getting some of those.

Costco. Probably $12 a pound or so for the whole rack.

Costco usually has whole choice ribeye for around $11/lb.

Costco steaks are blade tenderized. Just cook them to medium or more.

The blade tenderizers in any market are not cleaned as well as they should be. With that said, why they would be using a blade tenderizer on a steak cut is a mystery to me. Also super easy to tell if it’s been through a blade tenderizer as it will look very messed up and mangled. From that picture alone I can’t tell without a doubt but it appears to not have been run through the tenderizer. The gap in those tenderizers is only about .300”-.500” or so, so if the steak isn’t mangled and very thin it’s def not been tenderized.

Fresh Market has a whole or half prime boneless ribeye for $15.99/lb on Saturday. They do that fairly often.

My wife picked some of these up and they were all strip and no tenderloin.

While this is true, the OP said he wanted two racks to age for his event. Costco doesn't do anything to the cryo-packed rib roast other than slap a label on.

I'm probably just going to go to Costco then. Had someone quote me 12.70/lb for choice strip, supposedly wholesale, but that just seems steep
Maybe restaurant depot?

That dry aged steak at Rouse's is pretty good.
