Rouses boil ($3.89) is packaged in a 4 pound bag and has 480 mg sodium, which is 81% salt by volume. The Louisiana Fish Fry Products ($3.99) comes in a 4.5 lbs bag and has 380 mg sodium, or 66% salt.
Math must have been difficult for you. None of this is correct.
Also who is talking about volume?? Grams measure mass aka weight.
Here's how you should've compared the facts.
LA Boil has 390mg per 1.2g serving or 32.5% sodium. Rouses has 480mg per 1.3g serving or 36.9% sodium. Zats has 480mg per 1.2g serving or 40.0% sodium.

Bump.
My wife came home with a bag if this because they didn't have the regular Louisiana or Chackbay. I used it to boil 53 pounds of crawfish and they came out very well seasoned. Used this, 1/2 box salt, 6 oz liquid crab boil. Wouldn't hesitate to use it again.

So my takeaway is... a delta of 7.5%, or about 153g. per bag / jug.
Since I usually add two cylinders of salt, at about 2 x 740g = 1780g., I doubt 153g. more or less would change the taste enough to matter.
I've been using Zats, but my next boil will be with LA, so I'll use my standard recipe, and see what my panel of taste testers say.

Geaux Creole has been my go to. Great flavor and much less salty than most others. Just so hard to find and a bit pricier.

100 Quart, fill it to the top of the 5th ring. They weren't salty, but they didnt need salt either. I was pleasantly surprised. I also added about2 cups of lemon juice when I cut the fire.
