Howdy.
Anybody making their own spice? Maybe even trying to market it?
What are your using for an anti caking agent? Ground Rice Hulls? Food grade Silica Dioxide?
Thanks
and Good Luck.

I think Stadium Rat has a list of seasonings and ratios.

I was in the store yesterday in the seasoning aisle and the amount of Louisiana/cajun based seasonings took up 4 shelves. The market seems pretty saturated, I’m not sure how most of them make money.

The garlic and onion powder is what sticks and clumps. I switched to granulated versions of both, no issues since

One Vote for Silca Dioxide. Unfortunately I have already order ground rice hulls.
Meridan's Spice recipe thread.. Saw that.. Good stuff. I am mixing up larger batches... I am getting about 40 - 5.5 OZ bottles. per batch...
Seems to be going over great. Folks love it and I love it.
I read that the powders make it stick.. Use granulated. Well I use Granulated garlic, but not granulated onion... This recipe is awesome so I won't be changing it. I just need a flow agent.
Been working on my logo, Trademark, labeling, printing... Now I need a barcode.
