As a stock in your seafood dishes. I have only seen the Lobster base in stores but it’s been years ago. Never tried them but a big fan of the chicken base. I think I’m going to order the lobster or fish base.

Love all of Better than Bouillon bases that I’ve used but never used the ones you mentioned. I would think that they are great as well.

I’ve used the lobster. It’s good like all the rest just start with a little because it goes a long way.

The mushroom base is good too.

Used the chicken, lobster and fish. With the chicken, I find that I need to add more than 1 TSP per cup. With the fish and lobster, the base is damn strong, so I usually go a little less. All three products are damn good.

The ham base is the one you really have to watch. 1/8 tsp can make 30 gallons of water taste like full on Chisesi.

Lobster base and not real lobster is the reason why lobster bisque and lobster sauce is so popular.
Good flavor

Shrimp base makes gumbo better for sure.

Which do you prefer for seafood stock out of the lobster and fish.

I use lobster in my gumbo...I’ve never seen the shrimp as someone mentioned. Lobster does the trick for me though.

I was thinking actual seafood base and not better than Bouillon. A thing of shrimp base is about $25 better than bullion is $4.

Lasts a very long time though.

Never used the seafood versions, but the roasted mushroom kind has a permanent place in my pantry. Adds umami and depth without being specifically meat flavored.

The fish. I only bought the lobster because they were out of the fish. Lobster is good, but the fish is richer.

I've used the Better than....Lobster to make Lobster Bisque. I was pretty sure it was the basis for Lobster Bisque at several restaurants. I do float a bit of good quality sherry on the bisque, not stir it in.

Of the bases, I use the Totes Chicken base from Sam's. I use so much of it that I'm not sure what more I could ask for in that kind of flavor.

Totes beef base is ....not perfect. I'll try the Better than mushroom now, thanks to comments here.
