If so, have you noticed any menu or execution changes? Considering checking it out this weekend while I'm in town. I always thoroughly enjoyed my meals at Houmas House while he was leading the kitchen. TIA.

Will he have a direct bearing on the menu?

It would be a shame if not.

Tell me more, what did you order that was great?

I have tried to like this place, but find it generally mediocre. I look forward to trying it again after Langlois gets established. I have always enjoyed the meals I had at Latil's and hold hope that his influence at Ruffino's will have a positive effect.

i've had one sub par item there.... and it was fixed as soon as they were let know. Sclafani came out and delivered the plates himself and they comped a bunch of shite for the table.
we eat there probably 2-3 times a month due to its proximity to the house. its always solid stuff. That all being said we went Sunday for the first time since he has been there. I would think you may see some different things on the specials menu. Menu itself was the same, wife got the lobster I got the texas tenderloin. was good stuff.

I think he as only been there for just under 2 weeks. He is involved in all of there operations. Highland, Lafayette and Catering. I would probably check back in in a month or 2 to see his influence.

Doubt it. That place is pretty set in it's ways.
