My husband made me seafood lasagna for my birthday and roughly followed the Cajun Ninja recipe. He changed out a few cheeses he knew I didn't care for, but overall it was fantastic.

I made a calamari lasagna a few times years ago. Split the tubes open and flattened them and used them instead of pasta. Added the tentacles on top.
It was outstanding. Could add some chopped shrimp or crawfish to the sauce in layers.
Key on the tubes is to dry them out as much as possible or they will make the bottom of the dish soggy.
I've only done it a couple of times because it's a lot of work.

I have not got my hands on a proper home grown tomato yet this season Sidetrack. Hoping to fix that this weekend. Stopping at my brother's house on way back home from Florida this weekend.

I think shrimp and crab would make a really great one. Crabmeat mixed in with the ricotta cheese mixture would be
.
