I hope the food is good. Their sign with the slowly changing neon colors is pretty gangsta.

Bonus question: what history is being referred to by the "Historic Old Perkins Road" signs near there?

Going to try it tonight, I’ll report back.

Already eyeing the calamari, redfish Adrian, or some of the steak frites

Ate there on Tues night and it was fantastic. Drink list is as long as food menu, all fresh seafood...had the Redfish and they put a very generous amt of legit lump crab meat on top. Very nice place on the inside, plenty of parking. not stuffy like Juban's. I left there a fan and will def be going back, Enjoy

Went tonight, had high hopes, liked the menu. Great service, a rarity anymore, very good lookin space. Had Jucifer and Voodoo on tap, two of my faves. Food was so awful we left to go to finish the night at French Market Bistro. Calamari was brutal, cut ridiculously small, huge pile of over salted batter. Nice crunch though. Seafood mac n cheese was inedible...tasted like a fish tank, the seafood reminded me of krab, barely there cheese sauce, but I did like the bread crumbs on top. Our chargrilleds never arrived. Maybe we got the wrong stuff, they have a way too big menu, should’ve tipped us off.

‘Twas, but I may still give them another chance based on location, atmosphere, and service. Stay away from the above though.

I went w a couple buddies and sat at the bar for drinks/apps the other night.

We ordered Raw Oysters, Mussels Diablo, & Fried Frog Legs Vacherie.

- The oysters were fine
- Diablo sauce was really good (Im not a big fan of mussels but they wanted them) but I would have rathered it w shrimp or frog legs.
- The frog legs were fried and accompanied w a Crystal Buffalo Sauce w Blue Cheese crumbles. Without the buffalo sauce, the legs had no seasoning. They were cooked perfectly tho. Guess thats why u got sauce on the side, to control how much u wanted. Saying this, I would order again.

Overall I would say our experience was good. We sat at the bar and would do so again. I saw several apps and entrees come out that I would like to try for dinner. The beer/wine menu is solid.
