After the holiday weekend I'm thinking of attempting a 48 hour water fast

Yes. Only drink water and black coffee, you'll be fine. It's a good reset for your body.

I've done a lot of 3 day water fasts. I would try to go longer than 48 if you can. Autophagy ramps up at 24 hours and continues past 3 days. The hunger goes away after the 2nd day anyways

Longest I’ve done was 96 hours just water and black coffee. Once you’re in the zone it’s easy.

I fast almost every week from Sun night to either Tues or Wed Night.
Started off IMF for a while and gradually got okay with this. It’s like a GI reset and more. Physical and mental benefits.

If you don’t wake up every morning and eat 100+ grams of ultra processed carbs coated in sugar you aren’t a real American. Make sure to follow that up with 2 or 3 other large meals low on protein but high in starches. Pro Tip: eggs are bad for you, fat should never be eaten, beef will give you a heart attack, and missing a meal is worse than smoking a carton of cigarettes.
