I was hoping someone would tell me.
Their prices on local microbrews are so good, I haven't tried it. There's just something about store brand beer that makes me think of K&B vodka.

Supposedly there are only two Kirkland breweries, one on the east coast and one on the west coast, and they hired a "renowned brew master" to brew their beers. That's from their monthly magazine. The only reason I'm hesitant to bite the bullet and buy some is that I don't want to be stuck with a whole case of beer if I don't like them.

I don't care much for IPA's, which is apret 1/4 of the case, the other 3-varieties are good, especially at the price point. It is more of a fall/winter selection of beers for me. Overall I'd definitely give it a thumbs up and comparable to or slightly better than many micro brews on the market.

I didn't see any IPA's on the label I saw last week.
There was a german lager, an American pale ale, an amber ale and a wheat beer. Maybe they stopped making the IPA?

I have never seen an IPA on the West Coast. Might be due to the fact that GB doesn't have an IPA.

Very interesting. I've never had a GB. Are they any good?

what about Simple Times beer at Trader Joe's? about $2.99 a six pack. i;ve had it and while not that good at all it was no worse than other more expensive cheap stuff.

I think the Kirkland beer is decent enough....
ETA...GB is a solid beer. You should go check out the one in SoCal.

Full Sail is the least expensive excellent beer.

Speaking of TJ's their beer was also being made by GB as well, or at least it seemed that way.
Look at the TJ logo on the neck and compare it to the GB logo...

Bumping for Tigah in LA because I decided what the hell and purchased a case Monday. For $17.99, what's the risk?
I tried the Pale Ale yesterday. It was enjoyable. I will certainly drink another. I'll keep you updated on the rest.

Today's selection was the German Lager. After a nice fall run it was appropriately refreshing and tasty.

How much are there 22 ouncers down there, six packs? I will say Pyramid is the cheapest best around here. I like Full Sail's amber ale.
Widmer and Full Sail are just a little more. Rogue and Bridgeport are expensive as shite now. I get a case of Rogue at Costco for 25. A 22 oz. in the store is damn near 5$.
eta....I have had costco's beef, they are just as good as anything else around here except it's cheaper.
