Anybody Been to Crazy Hot Pot in Metairie?

I've been once. I enjoyed it. Two of my asian friends go all the time. I would go back but they always go at times I can't or dont wanna go. I forget which broth I had. There was a big group of us with a range of broths. We all enjoyed it.

ETA: I dunno if it's birthday worthy though.

A few times. Love it.

It’s a process though. Can seem overwhelming at first.
I get the Tom Yum broth.

And they have sides and entrees that are also included.

Yeah I've been a couple times. Honestly can't remember everything I tried so I'm not much help. Think the Tom Yum and Spicy Butter broths were my favorite. The good thing is it's pretty much all you can eat so you get to try everything you want.

I just watched that video. Looks like a glorified buffet and I have to cook it. Not my thing.

I thought it was fun as a novelty but not interested in convincing the wife to go back. She was a bit grossed out by the scrum around the buffet of raw ingredients.
