I decided to come up here until things get situated back home. I know nothing about Shreveport though.

Lucky Palace for sure. It's in the back of a disgusting motel and totally worth the risk to your car.

Closed for remodeling, or just recently re-opened in the last day. Keep this one to daylight hours, too. Don't want to get turned around after dark.

I haven’t dined in, but we have picked up a few times this year, and the food has been delicious and the portions generous. The brisket wasn’t my favorite, but the pulled pork is outstanding. The turkey is really good, too. Sides are all very good, with the least impressive being the potato salad. I think it had too much spicy mustard in it, but that’s been a while back, so I don’t remember for sure.

That's what we used to do and it was typical long waits and order mistakes for awhile.... last straw was when I called in 2 burgers, arrived 15 minutes later and waited in the resturant 45 minutes after that for my order and they weren't even cooked or dressed correctly. There were only 2 tables dining in at the time too...that was my last straw and most annoyed I've ever been with take out
