Have a request that I'm trying to fill.
I'm not a hunter, so it's not something I can shoot and process.
Thanks in advance.

you’ll need to wait until deer season is in full swing most likely.
Ronnie’s usually has them thru the winter

Mickey Browns and D S tamales in Houma are some of the best but I don’t think they sell retail

They have to be venison? For a store to legally sell venison, my understanding is that the customer has to bring the venison in for it to be processed or it has to come form a USDA approved deer farm (which is insanely expensive) and to grind up farm raised deer to make a tamale would be crazy in my mind, as you can not even tell the difference in flavor. Buy some regular tamales , you can find Mickey browns in some stores , and my favorite store bough ones come from Chris' specialty meats which are in a red gravy
