Tired of paying $21 per pound for ribeye. Hoping it might be a little cheaper to buy the entire ribeye and butcher it into steaks myself.

Any recommendations/links?

Wait until ribeye steaks go on sale at the store and buy one. Or buy several and freeze as desired.

Not really going to be any cheaper, beef prices are what they are right now.

What is Costco or Sam’s whole ribeye price per pound?

I haven’t seen them at Sam’s in awhile. I don’t shop at Costco. There is not a Costco near me.

You can ask the butcher if they have any whole PSMO packed whole primal ribeye in the back that they haven't cut up yet.

If they don't have it, they can probably let you know when you could potentially pick one up.

Looks like a good selection on that website. They have picanhas that I can never find at Sam’s or my local grocery.

PSMO

I don't mean to be "that guy" but PSMO (pismo) refers to tenderloins, Peeled Side Muscle On.

If you want a "whole ribeye", you'd just ask for a Whole untrimmed Rib Loin.

Keep an eye on Creekstone Farms' specials.

Thanks for the info. I thought it referred to the packing. I should have said cryovac'd.

Yeah the selection is great and the prices are very reasonable. Their prime tri tips and whole tenderloins are awesome.
