Someone was telling me that they've hung at the Sandpiper a few times and that it was cool. I can't remember who it was, though. Whoever it was is still alive and not in jail, I'm pretty sure.

My friends went last weekend and said they had a blast. They said it's completely safe and they screen out 'knuckleheads.' Everyone there was friendly. DJ playing music and everyone dancing, lots of space.

I frequent both (have a project nearby). Just don't act like an arse, and the people will treat you with respect. Cool places - good folks (and, I'm as white Irish as they come).
