I've seen all the Charleston recs on this board and took y'all up on many of them. I got dinner reservations at Edmund's Oast, The Ordinary, and SNOB. I tried to get reservations at Husk and FIG, but couldn't get one for the times I wanted. However, I did get on the waiting lists at both. If something opens up, would you take it over what I have booked? Should I walk in and sit at the bar or community table? Are these places that good or just really popular and over-hyped?

FYI other meal plans are: brunch at Obstinate Daughter, Calllie's Hot Biscuit, Brown Dog Deli, and I want some BBQ (thinking Home Team or Rodney Scott's)

TIA

You could probably get into Husk for lunch easier than dinner.

If The Ordinary has the banh mi oyster sliders get a bunch of those, outside of that I wasn't really wowed. My wife an I enjoyed our meal at The Darling Oyster Bar more than The Ordinary.

Callie's Hot Biscuit doesn't have seating and be prepared for a line.

Edmund's is the best restaurant in the city. Go hungry and thirsty, their beers are top notch.

Fig was Ok, Husk is really good. SNOB didn't really do much for us. We were there end of April.
