had Lokal in florida, Emily in New york, the Arlington VA place. All are really good, but to me, like steak, burgers after a certain point are personal preference and which toppings you like. To me, a great burger place better have great fries/tots too

Fine and Dandy doesn't have the best burger in Jackson, much less one of the 50 best in America.

+1

Also noticed the list is alphabetical and not a true this is the best Nation wide. I'd rather have a Mugshots burger over Fine and Dandy any day of the week.

This must be location specific. They were average at best in BR before they went under. I had one in Birmingham last November and it was downright bad.

I’ve had Company Burger and Matt’s Bar. Matt’s Bar is overrated, but it’s a staple of the area and the original Jucy Lucy.

I've eaten at these two and they're legit.

Pretty disappointed in Mississippi's "best burger". Plenty others that are better in the Jackson area alone.

I will try the Houston one within the next year. I'm from there but live in Dallas now

That is definitely not the best burger in Alabama.

Seems to be a pretty good list. Obviously, best burger is subjective, and I would bet most places on that list are at least in the discussion.

Having said that, I have not eaten the burger at Trifecta Tavern, even though I have eaten there several times. It's right next door to Loyal Legion, so that in and of itself moves it up a few points... Although I haven't eaten the burger, this is a Ken Forkish restaurant, so the bun is bound to be top notch.

Any list without Gramercy Tavern in the top 5 isn't credible.
