Fresh baked rolls or bread is always welcome. Even if you're no a baker. You can get those frozen loaves of bread dough in the frozen foods section and follow the directions. They'll be impressed that you baked them yourself. Better yet to make from scratch would be even better.

Do Alon Shaya's roasted cauliflower with goat cheese dip. It's surprisingly easy and is always a hit.
