Never owned one and so many out there.

Do they work good? Chicken fingers, French fries, etc..

What brand/model do you suggest?

TIA

This is what we have. It does everything we want it to do, plus more.

Would recommend especially to anyone that has kids.

We have the Ninja that’s an air fryer and toaster oven. We use it more than our actual oven.

I have this one: LINK /

Love it. We use it all the time. Last weekend we made beef jerky in it.

My only issue with that style, is the size of the cooking chamber. We have friends that have that model, and they always complain that it takes multiple cooks to cook everything because of the basket size.

*I've never used one though.

That's the one we have. Love it. If it fits in the air fryer we don't use our oven which has cut down our oven use probably 50-60%. We also like how it flips up for counter space and it deep and wide enough to cook pizzas. Air fried pizzas are the bomb yo.

Have this one. New Wave Brio. Its great to quickly heat up small servings of frozen food snacks(chicken tenders, tator tots, chicken wings), cold pizza, cook bacon or sausage. Not good at "frying" something like raw freshly battered chicken or shrimp.

I have a basket style, and I'm in the market for an oven style for this exact reason. It's great for cooking just for the kids (chicken nuggets, etc), but I haven't tried to expand too much because it would take more than 1 round even to cook for just 4 of us.

I have had both the basket and currently have the oven. I hate the oven because it is hard to clean. I will actually trade it to someone for a decent bottle of vodka. The basket is simply put in the dishwasher. The oven has to be wiped down and shite gets in all the little cracks.

Researched a lot and decided on this one due to having two baskets, can cook the kids chicken nuggets/etc on one side and do a side or adult food in the other. 8 quarts total but split into two 4 quart zones.

Been game changer for quick dinners and then throwing fries/wings with friends over, etc. can even set it to have both sides finish at the same time.

Throw the baskets in the dishwasher, easy

Thanks for all the responses folks, Good info.

That Ninja does sound good with two baskets. Do Chicken fingers and fries at the same time.

The Ninja you use a solid pan under the air fry basket. That pan catches 95% of the stuff so the interior stays fairly clean.

I was talking about the flipping Ninja oven version that I posted about above. It's an oven but you use a sheet pan under the fry basket and it keeps the interior clean.

I lucked out and married an OCD clean woman, so that's her department to get the inside clean. LOL

I have the Ninja Foodi that is also a pressure cooker. When it comes to cleaning, it's easy because the "frying" takes place inside the pot that serves as the pressure cooker, so you just pull the whole thing out and clean it in the sink.

Another thing I like is if I'm pressure cooking meats, you can pressure cook with the basket in it, so you can pull the meats out of the juices and get to working on your gravy or what not. Work great for steaming fresh veggies, too.

It's got multiple functions ... saute, pressure cook, air fryer, crock pot, dehydrator, yogurt maker, etc. and I've used them all.

At he end of the day, you get multiple uses from one gadget that takes up only one piece of real estate on your counter, and it's hella easy to clean.

I have the Ninja Foodi one at work, the one that folds up. Really all I've done is reheat quick mart pizza and it did a seriously good job, as in 1 minute on broil and it was better than new.
