Air fryer recipes and advice?

Just got a cuisinart air fryer for Fathers Day, anybody got any good advice or recipes they recommend? Tried pork chops and chicked fingers in it last night and they came out juicy and tender but weren't breaded correctly.

I use mine as a smaller, faster oven. I never bread anything or actually use it as a fryer. Great for frozen stuff, un breaded chops/ chicken, finishing off wings, etc.

What kind of fish you recommend?

I love to do wings in it. I like to preheat for 2 minutes first. Season the wings really well in misc. dry seasoning. Place in air fryer in single layer. Air fry 10 minutes.
Remove, flip, go 8-10 minutes more. Toss in your sauce and finish them off 2-5 more minutes to get the sauce to turn to more like a glaze. Hit them with the sauce one more time before serving.
Cooking them those last few minutes with the sauce on them is the game changer to me.

I like salmon, and I go super easy on it.
Salmon filet, seasoning, and coat generously in bottled Thai Sweet Chili sauce. That's it. 6-8 minutes at 390 (my fryer's default temp, which has worked fine for me), depending on thickness of the fish and your preferred doneness.
I also do a lot of breaded chicken breasts for chicken parmesan or to make chicken sandwiches. Even sometimes just do breaded air fried chicken cutlets with salad/greens, tomato, fresh mozz balls, cucumbers, etc. and make a big salad.

Piece of salmon, Paul Prudhomme Salmon Magic, 10 minutes. Cooks it perfectly and you can't get a crispier skin.
If you don't like PP's Salmon Magic, use any seasoning blend you want. You don't have to use a wet marinade or glaze to keep is moist though.

As someone else said, salmon is great, but I use a sweet glaze for that.

It's also great for reheating and crisping up some leftovers like onion rings.

We love our air fryer and use it almost every meal. Can't beat Salmon at 400 for 10 mins. Also really like cutting up golden potatoes and throwing them in the air fryer with ranch and cajun seasoning. 390 for 20 mins. Stop at 10 mins to shake/re-season and put on for another 10.

How thick is the Salmon? Skin on or off.
I have some fairly thin, skinless cuts, and I don’t want to screw them up.

Since I got one about six months ago I can count the times I've used my big oven or microwave on one hand.
Can roast vegetables in half time of a conventional oven and its the only way to reheat pizza and cook all the beige frozen food that my kids want. Frozen chicken tenders, frozen fries, bagel bites...
One of my go to easy meals is the frozen blackened chicken strips from Costco. 7 minutes and good to go. I have done "fried" fish and pork chops that came out great as well.
I set it at 150 for the first stage when I reverse sear steaks of thick rib chops before finishing on the grill or skillet.

I do this a lot.
I've also done this a lot. Works great for sweet potatoes as well. French fries do well in it also. You just can't have a lot stacked or you need to stop and stir pretty often.
My very favorite air fryer item...bacon. No mess at all. I do it at high, maybe 385 or 390? It takes 9-12 minutes (depending on how crispy). Stop it halfway through and turn. Easy clean up. Nice clean grease also.
Also, there are parchment liners on Amazon that make clean up even easier. I've also heard of people using coffee filters for liners.

Look up air fryer donuts. My kids love it. I use flaky Grands for the best results. Quick, simple and great.

For a quick meal try this.
Place a wrap on wire rack. (Low Carb for me)
Add any protein, (chicken, pork, sausage, pepperoni etc..)
Add any veggies - (Onions, bells, hot peppers etc...)
Add any cheese - (Cheddar, mozzarella, jack etc...)
In air fryer for 10 minutes at 450 till cheese is bubbly.
take out and fold in half.
Quick Quesadilla and damn good however you make it.

It makes really good fried chicken too. Crispy skin just like deep fried.

I usually cook them about 1-2" thick, skin on. The good thing with an air fryer is it's very forgiving. Cook at 400 and check at 5 mins. If it still needs more crust just add a few minutes.
