Thought John Mueller passed away?

FTR, LA BBQ - the "LA" stand for Leigh Ann (I think) and is Mueller family.

He did last year. He wasn't running Louie Mueller BBQ.

Had Leroy & Lewis for the first time about 2 weeks ago.

Goldee's might have the top spot, but this spot was hard to beat.

I’ll take their beef cheeks over any brisket any day of the week.

Is Chud still working with them? I know his Youtube and pit building are really taking off now.

I am not sure how anyone can beat Truth’s brisket or beef burnt ends

I ate at Truth for the first time a couple weeks ago (Houston location, so not the original). Had brisket and pork ribs. That’s what I always order to just a BBQ place for my personal preference.

I like the brisket at Fege’s better.

Now, the ribs were excellent, in fact maybe my favorite I’ve ever had. Got to try a couple burnt ends when they put some out as free samples. Very, very good.

I tend to agree with you...I find the brisket at Pinkerton's to be better than Truth.

In fact, I've never been wowed by any of the BBQ at Truth, their side and dessert game is pretty banging, but the BBQ isn't head and shoulders above the other big guys in town...Pinkerton's, Pit Room, Fege's, J Bar M at one point.

I haven’t had Franklin or Goldie’s but Truth is the truth

Edit: only had food from their original location

Not that I’m aware of, except he was still filming the Patreon content I believe. It’s the Clayton and Cole show, with of course Evan. Cole is a pretty cool guy. I go back and forth messing with him on IG cause he is an A&M graduate.
