Go to Chan's in Destin. They have lots of Bell's, Smuttynose, DFH, and maybe some Cigar City has made it up the pan handle.

Hell I got a case of Hopslam since I called ahead one year.

The rest of the stuff I picked up on road trips to chicago or ordered it online.

Louisiana beer selection has come a LONG way from what it was a few years back.

I wonder how many of those are IPA and Pale Ales. I'm not a big fan of overly bitter beer. I even think Sam Adams Boston Lager is too bitter LOL. I like a nice smooth Hefeweizen and love the Sierra Nevada Keller Weis.

I bet I wouldn't like 45 out of those 50 beers. Homebrewers tend to be hop heads.

Cigar City

Searchin on BeerAdvocate tells me that Chan's gets it but not always in stock. I'll be calling to see if they have any when I get down there later this summer.

Thanks for the help.

5. Russian River Brewing Co., Santa Rosa, Calif.
6. Founders Brewing Co., Grand Rapids, Mich.
7. New Belgium Brewing Co., Fort Collins, Colo.

I don't understand this list. Everyone has different taste buds and likes and dislikes certain beers.

It's the aggregate of a poll submitted by the Homebrewer's Association magazine readers... so at least it's not just some dude making it all up on his own.

I'm kinda with you there. There's not a single hefe on that list, and I love 'em

I think I've had 4 beers on that list, because I tend to not like IPAs/PAs

Addicted to this and their regular IPA.

Bridgeport IPA should be on this list.

Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout

What makes it a Breakfast Stout? Dogfish & Sierra Nevada are well represented. Sam Adams Summer Ale & New Belgium's Fat Tire need to crack the top 50 IMO

That may be my issue. I don't want a milk stout of any sort.

Milk stouts are great beers. I'd rather a milk stout over an ipa most of the time.

Too many ipa's on that list and also too many of those are tough to find. We have some huge arse beer stores in colorado springs but still none carry the majority of that list.

Not sure if I agree with this. I like them alot, and love the crazy in them, but I think their show last year (two years ago?) may have helped them out alot on this poll.
