I love the place. I'm glad they are getting so much publicity. A lot of that credit has to go to Scott who is one of the friendliest MF'ers in town, especially when he's drunk.

This makes me hate that I have to miss the grand opening party this weekend

I feel like I've seen this article before and it was just updated for the grand opening info.

At least four of those will feature Courtyard's brews, but in limited quantities.

Why are they having such a hard time getting their own actual beer online?

Baby IPA was good and yes the owners are very nice. Glad they're doing well.

Crescent city brewhouse doesn't brew? Or they don't on site?

They have had a couple on tap. Baby IPA stayed there for a while.

He is brewing almost everytime I am in there.

I went Saturday night and they were out of their IPA and wheat. They still had some good beers on tap.

I'm liking it the few times I have been.

Because people drink them dry as soon as they put their own stuff out. Good problem to have.

Maybe for the brewery, but not for the consumer.

I'd be pissed if I drove to NOLA to visit a brewery only to find out they don't have any of their own beers on tap. I don't care how nice their guest tap list is.

Well, if they are selling out every drop I don't think their business model needs more customers.

Not every brewery has the want to be Abita.

This.

I think Courtyard is absolutely somewhere you should visit when you're in town, but with the flexible hours they hold and the limited product (being this nano-brewery that they are), I don't know that I'd encourage driving in from out of town just to try their beer on a regular Saturday night.

Definitely stop in whenever you get the chance, though. And hit up the party if you're planning to.. just get there early.

Well they haven't had their grand opening yet so let's see what happens once they are really up and running.

In all fairness, they've been open 3 months and they keep twitter updated when their stuff runs out.

There's not enough rare in guest taps to warrant an hour ride.
