5 Guys

It's overrated. And so are the people who get excited about eating there.

Riveting. What, exactly, is the point of this thread?

I think it's pretty damned clear that the OP believes that Five Guys is overpriced. He was probably wondering if others agreed.

I'm not a big Five Guys fan, and this isn't usually the type of thread that I come to this board to read... But damn dude, why does this make you so pissy?

By whom? This place shits on it. 5 Guys is an appreciable step above other "fast food" burgers and is priced accordingly. Just over $10 is a fair price IMO. No it's not the best, but it isn't priced like the best either.

That's including the fries and the drink. Forgive me for assuming you read the OP.

Then you can't communicate effectively. Congrats? Regardless, it's still not a bad deal. You naming one fast food lace that is in your opinion better, which I don't agree with BTW, doesn't change that. Feel free to throw a hissy about it though.

Ok, that helps people in Louisiana.

This X's 10... seriously. I could pour a bottle of Tony's on a small fry and they would be less salty.

Why would I compare the price of a burger to a price of a burger with fries and drink? It was implied that I was making a direct comparison.

I have no idea, but when the only words you used are
quote:

How in the frick is a $10 burger
that's exactly what you did.

There is nothing implied by your words. Hate to break it to you, but words have meanings. When you put them in a certain order, they have very specific meanings. Choose your words better next time.

If anyone has the misunderstanding, it's you. You don't even know what your own words mean. Congratulations on no longer even trying to discuss anything relevant to the OP.

I was discussing it. You decided to waste time on your misunderstanding of my comparison. Not my fault.

I've been liking Mooyah burgers lately. I have never been impressed with the 5 Guys burgers and the 2 lbs of fries they give you.

We made the best burgers that I've ever eaten last night for real, thanks to Hello Fresh....They were about $12 each and we had to cook & prepare them. No fries.

Was at one in Salt Lake a few weeks ago:

Two burgers, my chick and I shared fries and she got a drink (I drank water) and it totaled $25

Couldn't believe it

Their standard burger, which is a double patty, with anything and everything you want on it is $6.29.

That's not a bad price at all. The fries are where they get you, but you are paying for hand cut potatoes, not that freezer burnt shite.

5G is legit yo
