The whole theme of the restaurant is old-school hip-hop. I could see how that could turn you off if you were a stuck up white guy.

As for the food, I've never been disappointed. It's pretty close to my office so I go there once a month or so. The ribs are awesome.

As RedFoxx said above, inconsistent.

They focus less on smoke and quality, than on sauce and creativity.

Ribs are not moist, and the raspberry sauce is annoying.

Brisket is often overdone. Very little smoke flavor

The bbq nachos don’t have enough meat, and the chips don’t stand the weight of the toppings.

Get the frick out with that shite. A restaurant can very much overdo a "theme". Prick. I get just as turned off by overly redneck BS or British themed junk, and overly hokie Mexican/Jamaican/African themed BS. It’s about overdoing it, nothing about race. You cuck

The food will be great. Ppl like to bitch, but the only US cities I've been to that clearly have better food are NY and Chi (and none have BBQ that can compete). That's good company.

Had an awesome meal at Foreign & Domestic. Can't really tell you where it ranks in the hierarchy of Austin Restaurants though.
