Killer poboys has some interesting sandwiches but it’s not for the muh shrimp and RB crowd

My favorite poboy is The Cure at Bevi.

As far as Mandina's goes, I agree, it's crap.

Verti Marte is another option, recommended to me on here, was very good.

Thanks, looking forward to trying some of these places. I’ve had both bears and parkway but love trying new places. As someone that could eat seafood as a kid and throughout my 20s, it kills me not to be able to eat a good shrimp poboy. I developed a seafood allergy about 10 years ago.
