Bugac it's extract. Boudreaux I have a small fridge that is if enough for the carboy and it is a true pilsner as the recipe calls for fermenting in the 50's eventually getting down into the 30's.

Really hate to rush it. It's aging on bourbon soaked oak chips. But if I bottle tomorrow, I suppose I could bring 1 to IPA day.

There will be another tasting, don't rush it if you don't think it's ready.

Probably for the best. Looks like I'll have a Double Jack to bring to IPA day though.

I picked up three Firestone Walkers yesterday:
Wookey Jack black rye IPA
Double jack
Walkers reserve porter

I don't know anything about FW though, so glad to see the double jack is highly thought of

No. That's not the beer we're looking for.

Nice. Will probably bottle my first batch this weekend or early next week. Oak aged, dry hopped double IPA. Won't be ready for IPA day, unfortunately.

This seems beyond ambitious for a first batch.

Yeah I would leave it out of your 1st all grain. I have oaked an IPA before with good results, but I can't imagine why you would want bourbon flavor in an IPA.
