But the wine and beer business is declining. The hard liquor category is growing but not enough to offset the losses from the other two. One reason we are seeing more and more celebrities backing liquor companies.
Everything is cyclical, but yeah they are all worried right now.
Gen Z is either not drinking at all, consuming weed products, or just going straight to liquor/cocktails. Millennials aren't much better.
Weed is kicking the shite out of the alcohol industry with younger consumers

I know beer sales have plummeted and breweries have been shutting down but I didn’t know that was the case with wine and wineries.
Maybe people have really cut back on all types of alcohol consumption?
Breweries are just oversaturated and full of people that either understand brewing or understand business... Not both. Charging people 8 dollars for a 12 oz glass of Blonde is just not a winning strategy.

Wonder why nobody bought it
A number of concerns are interested in the various locations. I doubt any one will buy all. SH bids and qualified bids are due today. 363 sale is scheduled for 9/10 for any locations with multiple bids.

Wow, there's a name I haven't heard in a while. They used to make very nice wines. Haven't kept up with them so I don't know what they're like now
BR Cohn, Girard, Kunde Family,.. these were nice wines also. Sad to see them fold.

Where’s your top 100 list that you used to post regularly on here?

I moved to the Mojave Desert in Nevada 4 years ago and my access to wines is more limited now. We have two grocery stores and one wine shop in town, and it's hit and miss as to whether or not the wines I buy from them will be heat damaged or not. And the state of Nevada has a policy prohibiting returning wines once they've been opened. I tried having wines shipped to me for a while, but every shipment was heat damaged, including a shipment for almost $900 of wine from Saxum in Paso Robles that arrived in February of last year. Every bottle was heat damaged.
All of which is to say that the wines I'm drinking these days probably would not be of interest to most wine enthusiasts

Where is yours?
Sidenote, I find it utterly disgusting the way you and Bruce bastardized the term cork taint.

Weed, IPAs, and whiskey are all better bang for buck on the intoxicate-to-spend ratio than wine.

Wine continues to market towards boomers, and has put themselves in a box by marketing for years as a luxury product instead of something you drink regularly or for fun
