Will this flood of the basin flush out most of the Hydrilla problem?

Although it's a small one, is this a possible silver lining for the basin?

or will it put more in it from up north?

I didn't know thats where it came from. I have heard sooo many things on how it go here...like from boats that weren't washed, etc..

I don't know about hydrilla but I would love to know how many catfish get rocketed through those spillway gates
If only there was a way to attach a gill net across them.....

maybe not, fairly high nutrient load in this flood water may caused it to flourish even more.
A big concern this summer will be hypoxia in the Gulf. This record flood is bringing high nitrate levels (some the highest ever recorded).

Dude! People's lives are getting turned upside down and you're worried about fishing?

I would love to go to Bay Wallace and drop some juglines soon.
