So Yahoo took a fumble away from Ezekiel Elliot this morning. The bitching in my leauge is unparalleled with it changing the semifinal result. Stat corrections need to be made before Wednesday. Kinda ridiculous to have it happen Thursday before the championship. Does anyone here have a set time for stat corrections in their leauge?

uhhh why does it matter when it happened. if you somehow dont let it go through I'd consider that collusion and ask for my money back

This and the Goff stat correction has me wondering if some NFL statistician's were playing in big money leagues, lost last week and had to tweak the stats a bit to keep themselves in the game. Deep state has reached the fantasy football realm.

What’s the difference if it happens Wednesday or Thursday morning ? As long as it happens before the next week kicks off

If you play fantasy you play with an understanding that this is always a possibility

The NFL did not review the play during the game because the "fumble" occurred on a 4th down play that Zeke did not gain the necessary yards for a first down. While watching the play I couldn't believe they ruled it a fumble when he clearly had a knee on the ground before the ball was loose. But the fumble recovery did not change the yard-line the Colts would begin their possession on, so the only impact the ruling had was in the fantasy world.

Btw, if you are the commissioner and you do not allow this stat correction then it is BS. As others posters have said, what does it matter if the correction happened today or yesterday?

Teams are usually locked once they are eliminated from the playoffs. Waivers cleared yesterday, and there's a chance that someone couldn't get Jamaal Williams.

The team bitching should be the one who got screwed on waivers, not the team that wrongly got put into the playoffs.

Team is still playing for 3rd place, adding guys doesn’t change unless they mail it in

Guy I’m playing for 3rd just outbid the other teams for ballage and Williams

True, in this specifics case it doesn't matter since the 3rd game place matters and people still make the necessary changes to their teams.

But this could be an issue in an earlier playoff week considering moat leagues have a gentlemens agreement for eliminated teams not to add through waivers.

The NFL screwed up, all turnover are supposed to be reviewed. You are correct that they got lazy because it was on 4th down.

There is also a stat correction that awarded Tarik Cohen an additional 3 yards. In the other semifinal matchup in my league one team won their matchup 129 to 128.9, but after correction the team that initially lost actually won 129.2 to 129.

You realize it wasn’t yahoo that took the fumble away right? It is done by the NFL.

So my opponent in the championship changed due to this correction. Is it unethical to intentionally not alert my new challenger if he’s got a player out?

I’m sure after he lost he hasn’t been on the app this week.

Commish should let him know. If he doesn’t, you should

Man I had Kamara and a slim lead going into Monday night, but my opponent had the Saints D/ST, Ingram, AND Thomas. Figured I would lose but It was back and forth. Then Kamara’s TD put me ahead by just enough. I won by 1.5 points. It was fricking amazing because it seemed so unlikely considering the players we each had going into the game. Put me into the Championship.

But... My opponent also had Elliott in his lineup.

What a SHITTY way to miss out on the Championship. I would’ve SO much rather lost by the half point on Monday night.

Late in the week stat corrections are the worst gut punch ever.

CSB: 2015 I won my seminfinal by 1.1 points, opponent had Denard Robinson. He was given an extra 13 yards on like the Saturday after the semis and got into the ship. I took 3rd and outscored both finalists. Yup.
