Who to Keep?

I am in a 12 man PPR league, and we are allowed one keeper. I am trying to decide between Arian Foster and Demarco Murray. Based on last season, it would seem Murray would be the wiser choice, but with his new QB and line, I'm not sure anymore. And Foster has been solid, but isn't getting any younger, and may be even more fragile now. As I said, it is a 12 man league and I will have the 8th overall pick. Any advice for who I should choose to keep? (Also, there is no limit to amount of seasons we can keep player)

Foster. It's Australian for Keeper

What's the payment for keeping them? None at all?

free, everyone gets one keeper and that just counts as round one. I know, its pretty stupid, but that's been in the league since before I started.

Who is everyone else keeping/ are you required to keep someone? It's PPR, is someone like Antonio or Demaryius available at 8?

Actually, those questions are good points. I actually won't know who everyone is keeping until we each announce when the draft starts. That kind of adds a little to the suspense I guess. But most keepers in the league will undoubtly be RBs with a few WRs and maybe a QB or 2. But RBs go quick in the draft for sure.

Oh, and yes, keepers are required.

I would keep Foster. Not a slam dunk either way, though.

Yeah Foster is definitely the safer, if not, better keeper here.
Foster will be the cowbell RB for the Texans. Make sure you add Chris Polk. While Murray will have a less talented offensive line in Philly which lost Evan Mathis. Also, you have to take in consideration the addition of Ryan Matthews and Darren Sproles is still getting touches. Oh and Murray is injury prone just like Foster, but he's only played a full season once (Same with Foster) in his four years in which he's coming off 450 touches last season.
Foster is projected to finish somewhere as the 4-5th best RB while Murray is somewhere between 9-10th based of projections

Good points. thanks for the advice. I am kind of leaning more towards foster.

I would keep Foster and draft Alfred Blue as a late round pick for when/if Foster gets injured.

A lot of miles on Foster and have to worry about durability.
That being said, Demarco is liability has well on the injury front.
Coin flip, but I would lean toward Murray.
