Need some help guys. I have a pretty solid feeling of how the first 6 picks will go because our league is already talking about how they'll unfold. At #7 I think Saquon Barkley and Leonard Fournette will be there. All the rankings say Barkley but I have a hard time picking the rookie over Fournette who I feel like I know more about what I'm going to get. What do y'all think? Thanks!

League is .5 PPR

I took Barkley at 7 the other day. I think especially in PPR that's the call.

Kamara if he was there and maybe Hunt

Assuming first 6 picks are:
Gurley
Bell
AB
Zeke
DJ

LF gets little to nothing in the passing game and I wouldn’t hitch my wagon to an injury laden rookie

I'd gladly pick Kamara but he'll go a six unless something crazy falls. Guy in front of me already said he wants him and is a huge Saints fan.

Take Fournette, looks like you are close to making up your mind.

In the same spot. Leaning Hopkins here assuming Kamara will be gone.

I'm picking 6th in a 10 team league and have crunched the numbers. I think if Antonio Brown is available, I'm taking him at 6 and hoping to catch a decent RB at 15.

I hear ya, but it's good to know the guys I'm drafting with and I he's definitely going to be gone.

If AB isn't there, what you think?

Beats the hell out of me. I'm almost in the same bind as you. I HOPE Brown is available so I don't have to decide which RB to take. The rankings that I've seen have Fournette and Barkley at 11th and 13th. I actually like Melvin Gordon over both of these guys, Gordon at 7 might be a reach though.

I can see Kareem Hunt being available at 7. I had him last year and while he did have some big games, there were some games in the middle of the year where he didn't do a whole lot.

If Johnson, Bell, Kamara, and Gurley go 1-4 as they are projected to go, I just need the person in front of me to be suckered into drafting Zeke Elliot, then Brown is all mine.

If Brown is gone, I'd probably take Hunt at 6.

I hear ya! I like Hunt there too but I've got a gut feeling I'm going to roll with Fournette. Not a whole lot to back it up other than he's on a good team and had a solid year last year even with nagging injuries and not being incredibly efficient. I think he, at the very least, repeats last year or he get more efficient, shake off those injuries and become a top 3 guy. Just about minimizing risk with my first rounder I guess.

I'm in the same spot but 1 PPR.

Assuming Gurley, Bell, Johnson, Elliot, and Brown are gone.

You'll have the 2nd pick of Kamara, Beckham, Hopkins, or Barkley.

Barkley.

why is Barkley automatically ranked ahead of Fournette?

Just curious as to the logic, not shitting on it, although I disagree.

No such thing as a reach if you like a player and you won't get him back on the turn.

Hunt was basically a 2 down back last year. I find that owners that had him last year like him less this year than owners that did not have him.

This is definitely true. But the dude that was the 3rd down back (West) got cut today. But Spencer Ware or someone else might be that guy now. If I can find solid evidence somewhere that Hunt will be an every down back, then I think he is a good value at 7
