Me and another guy are running away with this league. Both 10-2. Just wanted to get a consensus. PPR. Start QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, Flex

Team 1
QB: Romo, Cutler
RB: Ellington, Forsett, Hill, Gio, Joique
WR: Julio, Green, Gordon, Benjamin
TE: Gronk

Team 2
QB: Brady
RB: Forte, Foster, Morris, Blue, Blount
WR: Maclin, Cobb, Allen, Sanu, T. Smith
TE: Bennett

It's a push to me. MAYBE slightly lean towards 1 because of Gordon and Gronk.

Probably 1. Drop off point is from WR3 down, and TE.

I think it is. Ellington looks like shite and Hill's ceiling is 20 points with Gio back IMO. 2's RB's are much better than 1's and 2 is slightly better at QB. 1's much better off at TE and flex and slightly better off at WR.

For the record, I am Team 1. Teams have pretty much stayed the same all year, other than me just acquiring Forsett last week. Team 2 has about a 100 point lead on me on the season, but I still like my team a little more going forward.

Forte is the #1 non-QB scorer (PPR) and it doesnt appear to be letting up. So I would prefer to ride with him over any player on #1. Then it helps that he has Foster/Blue, Morris, Brady, Maclin and Cobb. I would love to have Team 1, but if you're giving me the option I want #2.

I like team 1. Good thread idea. I'll bite,

Team 1
Romo
Cobb, ABrown, OBJ, Gordon
Forte, Blue

Team 2
Luck
DT, Dez, Landry, MBryant
Crowell, LBell

Without question IMO. Forte & Brown are (PPR) #1 & #2 non-QB scorers.

Forte and Brady are the only pieces I would feel comfortable with. Morris to an extent, but that team is a dumpster fire train wreck.

Foster = injury
Blue= not that good
Maclin = losing targets to Matthews, has been up and down w Sancez
Allen = erratic
Sanu = erratic
T. Smith = erratic
Bennett = erratic

As for team 1, Ellington and Forsett have been in double digits EVERY GAME THIS SEASON. This is not the year of the RB; there are some true stinkers out there. If you told me my two RBs will post 10+ every game, I would take it... Hill/Gio/Bell there in case of injury. Cmon!

And then you have JULIO, Green, Gordon and GRONK.. you just need those RBs to not kill you. Green is 100% healthy he says, Julio and Gordon are studs who are force fed targets, Gronk is the best TE in fantasy.. Benjamin there in case of injury.

no brainer here

You want to talk about consistency?

quote:

JULIO, Green,

Green since returning from Injury - 11, 4, 22, 21
Julio's last 6 games 16, 10, 17, 8, 9, 9

Conversly Cobb and Maclin
Cobbs last 6 games 8, 20, 13, 21, 21, 15
Maclins last 6 games 10, 22, 5, 30, 38, 3

quote:

Ellington and Forsett

Ellingtons last 6 games 10, 9, 14, 22, 14, 20
Forsetts last 6 games 23, 14, 13, 9, 11, 21

Forte and Foster/Blue
Fortes last 6 games 27, 22, 10, 39, 27, 36
The combo of Houston backs 9, 15, 18, 38, 19, 28

Team 1 has an advantage at TE, wont deny that, but I think most would say that Luck - Brady is a coin flip.

Essentially the only other possible advantage would be Morris vs Gordon. The flashiness says Gordon, and that might be correct, but Morris is playing some hella ball right now and he hasa decent playoff schedule.

ETA: The point I am making, is I dont believe is it clear cut, I think both teams are very good and its about preference.

Reading that made me want to scream as loud as I can and run through a brick wall. My body is ready for the playoffs.

Im talking projected consistency going forward. Outlook for the rest of the season.

Green wasn't healthy when he came back from injury. I think anyone who has watched him the last two games can see the difference.

Julio has a cake remaining schedule, the majority at home, and he faces some of the worst pass Ds vs fantasy WRs going forward.

I have no problem with Cobb. He's fine in that offense. In Sanchez's 3 starts, Maclin has a 7 and 12 point game sandwiched around a 24 pointer. Matthews has seen more targets under Sanchez. Not that Maclin is terrible, but he's not the same guy with Sanchez as he was with Foles.

Morris has been great, but he needs to find the end zone in order to have a nice day.

ETA- i dont think team 2 is bad by any means. I just want the elite guys in the end.

Totally agree, that's why I would prefer Forte. Again, its all preference, but there would be two guys I would want down the stretch Forte and Antonio Brown.
