That was the scouting report on him the moment he signed... don't throw fastball.

I'm amazed he's seen so many. Just sucks for him he has no one around him. I want to see choice up before the season is over.

lol, I am the one who is butthurt?

If you post and make jokes, you are passive agressive.

If you don't post (aka take the league as serious as Lester thinks you should) you aren't worth a shite as a person and should be booted out.

I manage my teams how I want and talk random shite here and there. I don't have personal vendettas against people like Les. It's all in fun. Go take some xanax.

Picked this guy up for $1 at the end of the draft. Already worth it. I think he can hit 30 this year.

He's talented, sure. But you need to keep your expectations in check. He can hit the ball well, but he will play half his games in a cavernous stadium. 15-20HR max.

I waited til double digit rounds to pick him up in the draft but that was long before the hype storm really got going.

I wound up getting him in 2 of the 3 leagues I drafted. One guy took him in the 7th/8th round (from memory) in a keeper.

Yeah, I overpaid. Someone in my draft room mentioned him in random banter so I had to act quickly. There are more guys like him out there.

ETA: CE Tiger,

He was on my bench last night because I had to choose between him and Markakis. Went with Markakis since Cespedes was facing Felix.

The tough part about having a loaded offense. Of course, Rick don't know shite about that.

In ST he hammered a breaking ball deep, but I don't know the pitcher or if he was any good.

His HR from Friday is currently the longest of the year... 462.

Message Posted by GynoSandberg I like how Barry was saying he went in the 6th round in the dat keeper draft was supposed to be some concrete reason to draft him late Lulz

Yea that was the reason I didn't think you should draft him that early :sarcasm:

You know how many Cuban league stars have flamed out in MLB. I'll wait more than 3 games before I "crown his arse"

Just revisiting this, because it's been interesting.

The injury slowed him down a bit, but still you are looking at:

.293/.352/.523 with an .875 OPS.

12 homers, 44 RBI, 25 runs, and 6 swipes.

Ks seem to have slowed down a bit too.

I got him in 2 leagues, the 13th round in one, the 15th round in another.

Seems like I took about where he should be plus great value as a keeper moving forward?
