I was lucky enough to draft him in the last round and it has paid off, but his weeks as a starter are numbered.

I'm trying to hit that sweet spot of getting rid of him while his value is high, but keeping him long enough to get his current outputs in my lineup.

Last I heard CMAC is expected back around week 10. If that's true, then to me the time to trade him is right now.

If he's coming back later (or if at all), then I see it being worth keeping him for a few more weeks. Even if this is the case, I'd like to find someone else to plug in my lineup for the playoffs that's more trusted than what I have on the bench

Just wanted to get everyone's thoughts on him

I read CMC may be out until Week 10. Put him in your line up until he is no longer the starter.

Start kicking the tires now with the CMC owner to either trade Mason away or get CMC.

Last week before he injured his shoulder and everyone went apeshit on the waiver wire trying to add Guerrendo.

In all seriousness, you should start shopping him now because his perceived value declines weekly as CMC gets closer to return.

Fortunately, I have mid-range RB depth for days (Hall, Brob, Pollard, Achane) so I’m going to ride Mason until Kyle says I can’t.

I’m keeping Mason as I still have Gibbs. Eckler, Mostert and Dowdle to fall back on

I should've prefaced it better. I've got Mattison, Mostert, J Hill, and Singletary as backups. There some decent plays from week to week mixed in there, but Idk about playing in of them every week, especially some playoff time

You’re right, none of those options are really putting up reliable RB1/RB2 numbers on a weekly basis.

Who is your other starter aside from Mason?

If you’re wanting a 1:1 swap, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to seek out an undervalued (depends on how savvy your league is) commodity like Pollard, Brob, or Kyren. Barring injury, those guys are going to give you a consistent 12+ pts every week.

Otherwise, start thinking about targeting someone desperate in your league that’s sitting 1-5 or 2-4 with Mason + a WR2/TE (depending on your depth) for an underperforming RB1 with a nice schedule down the stretch like Breece Hall.
