What to think of michael thomas?

Looks like he's getting close to coming back and espn has projections up for him as if he's playing. Assuming he gets cleared and his active would you have any hesitation starting him? That sounds kinda silly considering his potential but man ankle injuries are no joke. I'm wondering if it'd be better to just plug in the WR3 I have like normal and get at least a few points or to roll with Thomas who could be a true boom or bust in first game back?

If he plays You start him. And I don't care what the rest of your roster looks like.

Wait to see what the practice reports look like this week before deciding. Even if he's limited all week I would probably start him. If he doesn't practice at all and is a gametime decision, then maybe look at someone else.
