Ekeler got 240 combined attempts and targets last year. I don’t even think he even needs an increase, though I think he will see one. Sproles was RB5 in PPR on 198 combined looks. Think that’s what we are looking at with Ekeler. That kind of talent

For now J, for now

You’re undervaluing how people will be willing to pay for the top back in that offense. Draft capital and opportunity will push him higher in all drafts.

Yea but you’re talking reaching those heights because of 80 -90 catch seasons, getting that extra point per catch

I don’t think Clyde is hitting that

Similar talents I’d just prefer to back the guy in the better offense. I hate both options the chargers have at QB, I feel like that caps ekeker

Hunt got 335 looks as a rookie. Even at 275-300 CEH is primed with the way he excels after the catch.

Hunt was the best player on that offense. And was a sturdy 216lbs

Clyde is like the 4th best player in the offense now.

Would you consider Damien Williams an elite talent? Because when healthy he was capable of putting up RB1 numbers in it

They don’t have the talent not to use Ekeler extensively though.

Tyrod is fine. He avg 7.7 passes to RBs last time we saw him start in ‘17. Would’ve been 8th most last year. Checkdowned 9% of his passes

Shady McCoy 3 year 16G avg in BUF with Tyrod

269/1228/8
52/408/2 on 68 avg targets

LINK.

Small sample size but I’d say the hysteria is real. He’s likely going rd 1 in most drafts now.

RB8-Rb12 would be an RB1 in a 12 tm league. Cmon I’m not dissing him like that

I’m not saying you’re dissing him, I’m just discussing where his ADP will be after today

I’d take CEH over Henry, Jacobs, and Jones

In full PPR he’s probably climbed into the RB5 spot.

I’d prob eye him in 2nd but he won’t last there in Louisiana based drafts

This bumps him clearly into my top group of ballers that I would love to start my team with.

CMC
Saquon
Zeke
Kamara
Dalvin
Drake
Miles
CEH (I could see myself putting him as high as above Kamara)
---

The next group has the Henry, Ekeler, Jones, Jacobs, etc. of the world for me. CEH was in this group until today.

Ew. I just think he’s going too high for a career journeyman that could easily lose his job at the slightest struggle. It could work out but generally not the kind of situation I like my round 1 pick to be in

Beautiful. I love Clyde and super high on him. But idk about 1st round now, that’s too much to bet on him. So many known studs in the first you could take instead

Maybe it will be a national rise, idk. If he creeps up that high he's going on DND lists for me. Im just not sure he is that much different than a guy like peak Giovanni Bernard.

CMC
Barkley
Zeke
Kamara
Dalvin
Aaron Jones
Chubb
Jacobs
Henry
Sanders

--------

Then i'd think about taking him in that group with Akeler, Mixon, Fournette, Carson.

Figure Kansas City will sign or trade for another RB.

Jones is so weird. Love him but they just seem dead set on not making him the guy at times
