Who the f punts for a tie lol?

You had 17 seconds. Try and get a first and get a fg

Did you watch? They were about to attempt a FG then got a false start to take them out of range. They had no choice but to punt there. FG is out of question, and if they don't convert on 4th, Bengals are 1 play away from FG range.

The Falcons are the first team in NFL history to lose twice in one season while holding a 15+ point lead in the 4th quarter. H/T @EliasSports

They've done so in back-to-back weeks.

Today marked the Falcons’ 5th loss when leading by at least 16 points since the start of 2016, including the playoffs.

No other NFL team has more than 2 such losses over that span.

Really nice. His 2.9 YPC crushed it for me today too.

ETA: Interesting stat. I’ve racked up six injuries to the roster in two weeks. I have more injured players pulled from the game than I do TDs over Wks 2-3.

Yes I watched. Bengals would have gotten the ball with less than ten seconds left. They should have gone for the first and a shot at the fg

I would lose my mind as a coach. No excuse for that.

They were about to attempt FG on 4th 7 with 19 seconds left. Penalty turned it into 4th and 12 at the CIN 46. If they don't get 1st or miss the over 60 yard FG, CIN gets ball back close to midfield likely with over 10 seconds left. They pretty much had to punt.

My first reaction was that I would sit him for the rest of the game. But, doubt they would do that in the NFL.

Yeah they had to punt. Bengals could have gotten 1 first down and attempted a FG.

Did not see this mentioned, coach fears torn ACL for Tarik Cohen.
