I am trying to get CMC off of the guy who has him in my league. He has Ingram, Dobbins and Pollard, so he needs someone. I offered him James Robinson for him, which he countered for Melvin Gordon.
We are a half PPR league with a flex. I have Aaron Jones and Kamara as my top RBs, but use Gordon as my flex. If I lose him, I have James Robinson, Josh Kelley, John Brown, Marvin Jones or AJ Green to play in the flex.
I am thinking of countering with Dax Prescott and Melvin Gordon for McCaffrey and Mahomes. Want to take advantage of Dax's big game and Mahomes' down game.
I will be making my RB weaker for the next 6 weeks, but I am 2-0 and think my depth can cover me.
Thoughts?

Depends on the other owner. I would say all he can do is say no, but some people get pissy and shut down the trade all together.

Dude WTF. If you can get CMC for Gordon, do it. Don't get greedy.
You can figure out a flex play for a few weeks, and for the rest of the season you'd have Jones, Kamara, and CMC.
