Having Boom in your conference is the next best thing to still playing against Karma.

If we intend to make this the most competitive, challenging league, the only option is to move to an auction, IMO.

That takes way more strategy.

Any person can look at mock drafts and player rater sheets and draft a competitive team.

I agree. Anyone that votes against an auction at this point has no sack whatsoever.

..and it's the luck of the draw in a drafter.

In an auction, you have an opportunity to get any player at the beginning; if you're drafting 12th, you automatically miss out on 11 guys.

Auction vote for me.

My only worry with an auction is that it's going to take a long time and I've only done IRL auctions, not sure how smoothly that would go on the comp.

It still takes some time, but its 1000x times smoother than IRL drafts. Everything is timed so it works great.

Yeah, no stopping the draft because you picked the wrong guy.

So in an auction, you have a normal draft order, correct?

Then the person who is up will nominate a person that he wants to bid on.

Then you have X amount of time to place a bid? Is it a one time bid? Is it a blind bid and the highest bidder comes out with the player?

So say I nominate Arian Foster... the clock starts for say 30 seconds, and then everyone who is interested puts in a bid. So if I bid $60, PCT bids $50, barry bids $40, then I get Foster once the 30 seconds is up?
