I'll need 55 to secure a win, maybe less depending on what Fitz and Marshall do.

DJ has been a machine, but Powell will need a game like the end of the year in 2015 for it to happen.

Boom, what are we doing here?

What kind of value are we looking at going forward?

Yes, if Kevin wouldn't have gotten hurt he would be putting up Meredith-like numbers.:: getting better each week with talent through the roof. Must start.

thoughts on this

Cameron Meredith's first two starts: 20-243-1 (27 targets)

Kevin White's first four starts: 19-187-0 (36 targets)

Irrelevant. White was a guy who we knew was gonna get better through the season, each game he played was better than the prior. In the game he got hurt he was on a pace for a 12 catch 110 yard effort. Meredith has been great, but to say he would be better than White if White was still healthy? NO we can't get on board with that.

White had one of the worst catch rates in the league, if not the worst. He wasn't getting much better

catch rate

Fantasy Week Opp Pts Scoring
Week 1 @HOU 6.40 Kevin White 34 receiving yds (3.40 pts)
Kevin White 3 receptions (3.00 pts)
Week 2 PHI 8.50 Kevin White 9 rushing yds (0.90 pts)
Kevin White 36 receiving yds (3.60 pts)
Kevin White 4 receptions (4.00 pts)
Week 3 @DAL 12.20 Kevin White 62 receiving yds (6.20 pts)
Kevin White 6 receptions (6.00 pts)
Week 4 DET 11.50 Kevin White 55 receiving yds (5.50 pts)
Kevin White 6 receptions (6.00 pts)

each week more catches and yards than the next, he'd be a 15 ppg kinda guy from here on out

Kevin White was arse this year. If he wasn't a top 10 pick he would have gotten 2015 Devante Adams level ridicule.

We are talking fantasy production not catch rate or PFF grade or whatever. He was more productive each week and woulda been a must start come playoff time. eapecially with hoyer at the helm.

I agree that fantasy production is often independent of how good a player is, but he was too inefficient to reach this pie in the sky ceiling you're referencing. Maybe if you think he was going to move from 9 targets a game to 13 targets a game, then I guess it's possible

He had 9 targets in a half in the game he got hurt. 14 targets in the game before that.
