that was the part that confused me also. Why would the best team take a risk when they already have probably the #1 player in fantasy on an injured guy and a RB who has been bad all year. I could maybe see it if he was stacked at RB behind foster but that really isnt the case

I am buying low on Andre Johnson. He's not missing the season. Plus I think Mendenhall will have a good second half. He won't be as good as Foster but AJ will be >>> Decker. I like Decker but Tebow is completing like 10 passes a game. If he doesn't score a TD he doesn't produce enough.

You can either sit around and be content or you can try to make your team better. I think my team is better now.

True, but if you get through that, you will, IMO, be a favorite in the Tiger Division playoffs.

BTW, you must have hated the team you drafted. This will put you with only 4 players on your roster that you initially selected in the draft.

Better for Mendenhall IMO. They score more and he will get more redzone opportunites.

he's not very effective getting 13 carries a game. he's getting 9 points a game. Im not sure how that is good for him when it has been horrible for him so far this year.

I am literally in last place. I have like a 10% chance at the playoffs

I made my team better on paper, but the guys I traded for got injured when they got to my team... Britt, AJ, and Hillis. Too many overlapping injuries did me in.

im not saying it wont work out. it could. but mendenhall's carries have gone down, not up.

its a risky move for being in 1st place that doesn't give you much upside over what you already had.

I guess that is where we disagree. To me, it gives me much more upside. AJ was averaging like 23 a game before going down, and I feel Mendenhall is going to outproduce Decker down the stretch. I already posted my lineup, and I will put that up there with anyone in the league. We will see, but you all have hated the trades I've made all year and they've worked out. I think this is low risk, high reward. We'll see.

I'm guessing that two 6-6 teams make the playoffs in the Tiger Division.

If your horses produce in W10 and W12, and you push the right button in W11, you will be in a fight for a playoff spot at 6-6.

its possible, we are talking about a former top 10 back. Im just wondering what you are seeing from Pitt offense or Mendenhall that makes you think that. Just a hunch i assume. I think they will be about the same. Decker has been steady even with Tebow.

yeah, if this deal works out. As of right now you cant really say that by trading away #1 RB for a hurt WR and the 30th ranked RB that you stack up with everyone. Maybe in 3 weeks it will be different.

as we talk today, you have no reliable RB. 1 reliable WR(Smith) and a stud QB.

dont know about everyone else, but i personally haven't "hated" on any. I think i questioned why you traded Stafford after making that nice draft steal of him and pumping him up. That deal hasn't exactly put you over the top. You treaded water which is good. Stafford has outplayed Vick slightly, however. Ingram has busted and SJax is looking like a solid RB1. You used Marshall as a piece to get Foster, which was good.

its not really hating, you know we all just discuss any trade, esp one with big names

high risk, high reward maybe. I disagree that there is a high reward here, at best i think you break even. Im not sure how you can say it is low risk though.
