Evry week the highest scoring team wins 25 dollars....and at the end of the year the highest scoring team wins 75% of transactions fees...with the other 25% going to the champeen.
The weekly high point payout keeps everyone interested all year to try and score their best every week.

In my pay league, we use to give high scorer each week $10. Few years ago we switched to a "survivor pool".
Week 1 the lowest scoring team is "kicked off the island". The next week of the 11 remaining teams, the lowest scoring team is eliminated. & so on until there's only 1 team left at the end of week 11. That team gets the $130.
