I'm going to hold off on making any big trades until I hear the Gordon appeal results.

..when will waivers run? I need to grab a kicker.

I should have complained when I mistakenly bid on KC last night.

I wasn't sure if Port was around to make a decision and I didnt want to go 3 or 4 picks past that and everyone start to say something, then have to go back and fix it. I was watching the draft in real time and he immediately said something when the bid came across. And a few people had asked if the commish was going to stop it.

With some of the prices at that point, as well as the point of the draft, it was CLEAR it was a mistake.

Putting a high starting bid on mid level players is a dumb strategy, and Gyno you're the only one that was doing that. It's pointless. And he wasn't doing that clearly.

as an impartial observer, Big Giraffe is arguing for the sake of arguing here.

He clearly didnt mean to bid 12 bucks.

I mean i understand what he is saying about the precedent, but I would like to think whoever the commish is would take an incident like this separately from each other.

sometimes you might have to just let it ride. But with all the info surrounding this one, it was clear it was a mistake.

ETA: and he's mad cause he was low on money and this game $10 back to Thomas, who was able to add some solid players after this bid that maybe Gyno would have been able to afford. Understandable

My only year in this league using an auction really fricked me(I lost internet connection and bid like 60 bucks on Chris fricking Johsnon after I already had 2 stud RBs)

I know mistakes can happen.

This is an obvious mistake.

This draft did not go as I expected. Depth is gonna kill me.

Me too. Had no intentions of paying top $ for a RB then got McCoy. Didn't mean to bid on Ridley, and got stuck. Didn't think people were going to draft 2 starting QB's. Oh well. It's fantasy football luck will ultimately decide who wins and loses.

Yeah I got stuck on Ball. Im still happy with the price I got him at, but it put me behind the 8 ball the rest of the draft.

I was $1 away from getting Kaep. Thanks Papps...a-hole lol

Wat

You act like I only said something after the fact. I had no idea who he was going to get with the extra money

It was dirty, but I had to. I needed some leverage on someone

just wish you had a better back behind Ellington and Ball so we could make a deal

I did that on 2 guys that I wanted and got both of them. I wasn't going to bid any higher on them. I set the starting bid that high bc I thought they were somewhat hot names and if other people got in on them, they would be over paying and I had other targets I was going to go after.

he was the last of the big 4. the first 3 were got at $57.

AP was thrown out first and I got him at $57. I thought McCoy and Charles would then go higher, was kind of shocked to see them both at $57 as well

If other people would have overpaid, then so did you with your starting bid. There's no reason to start a bid for more than $1 unless it's the last player in your roster.

i spent early on my 3 backs but made it a point to hold off. really wanted dez but couldn't go higher than $50. i would have been broke had that bid hit and left with a $1 player as my wr2

had to walk away from the computer when julius was nominated to resist him.

You're the type of drafter that makes people want to pull their hair out.
