That was all Rouge.
If he IM'ed you saying he'd do that trade with you, you wouldnt have balked at all.

I know enough to take an expansion squad and bring it as close to the playoffs as you can get.

I thought that was a cheap shot from Marle really...

if anything i've proven that i can inherit a football team with 1 keeper and be last in the league

The football is the hardest of all the leagues IMO.
Its so much harder to get talent.

No, you just made shitty decisions last year. Drafting a team after 144 players have been picked is more difficult. I don't know if I'll ever get an elite player in tdbl. You can find them much easier in a 4 keeper football league.

I had Arod...twice
I have Beltran
And a couple of decent pitchers in Hanson and Carpenter.
Your big thing was you were in contention last year so you couldnt sell out for the future like I did.
I picked up Heyward and Escobar off waivers and turned that into Hanson.
I got Wade Davis off Waivers and I think he will deal.
But you were right there for playoffs and couldnt make those long term moves.

You weren't an expansion team. Your team wasn't the best, but you had players in the top 144. Me and red didn't have those peaces. I'm just saying that it's easier to be an expansion football team. Knat made the playoffs his expansion year. No way in hell that was happening in tdbl.

Peace to you too, Port.

I was actually saying that your teams good showing made it difficult to take some chances.
I think in baseball its easier to pick up dudes from the minors that are about to be called up then it is to know if Patrick Crayton or Miles Austin are going to be the new go to guy in Dalla.
Or if Jerome Harrison or Chris Snelling will set a franchise record in Cleveland.
