A lot of teams still in playoff contention...even LT is only 6.5 out of it right now.

My lineup won't hit HR, but they will be competitive.

My staff, on the other hand, is atrocious. I'm essentially rolling with 1 pitcher and spot starting scrubs.

ETA: I wish LAA would leave Frieri as the CL since he's done a fine job, but I don't see it happening.

Choo will be out of the Reds' lineup Tuesday against the Mets, John Fay of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.


Spin:
Manager Dusty Baker mistakenly thought left-hander Jonathon Niese was starting Monday rather than Tuesday, so he initially had Choo out of the lineup. Once Baker realized Shaun Marcum was starting Monday, he penciled Choo into the lineup, but look for Choo to sit Tuesday with Derrick Robinson likely getting the start in center.
