I'm enjoying it but obviously it's my first year so don't have last year to compare it to. The league set up definitely leads to a lack of activity, I wouldn't be upset if I didn't make one waiver move all year.

well last year was a bad example b/c it led to drama and people wanting to blow it up
i know the magic of 2008-2009 or whenever we started with the constant chat on CBS isn't coming back, but we may have gone "too far" in destroying the long-term management of the league, which will hurt in-season management b/c there is no reason to deal
like i said on page 1. it's the first year, people don't know what their teams are right now, and none of us have any idea how the "futures market" is going to develop. now i will say that people do seem less enthused, so the creative juices will likely not be flowing to find good angles for the market

this to me is exactly the problem. we fixed what wasn't working but also took away what was working and really fun about the league.

The CBS days were GOAT. But that was many kids, wives and less demanding jobs ago for majority of the league.
I don't think the lack of enthusiasm is specific to this league. Also the amount of posting doesn't equal enthusiasm. I can go weeks without a post in TDFL, but it's still my favorite football league.

You hung on to Lebron and KD for like 5 years and you're upset people ain't trading 3 weeks in? 
People said they wanted a redraft...people said they wanted the ability to keep players too...people wanted to end streaming. This is what we have...
Sounds like you want to reduce rosters and change waivers to rolling, not faab, meaning guys will be available to be added throughout the day. What else?

Cmon it wasn't five years
that's a good start. Maybe that fixes it. It would be good to start there. Both encourage turnover of players hence daily interaction
