I think just let the lottery decide the whole draft?

Doesn't mean you'll finish last

Weighted - Teams get lottery balls in inverse correlation to their place of finish.

i think this option would satisfy both sides of the argument

Of course you do...and I disagree with you.

well let's just get the lottery issue decided first. and then we'll decide if we limit the number of lottery slots.

What if teams start "throwing" games in order to finish lower?

Not setting lineups, dropping and adding, etc

People are doing this now...McCain actually adds and drops players but doesn't set his lineup.

At least this way, they aren't guaranteed a draft slot. That's the point of changing it.

The change that is being proposed is to switch to a draft lottery involving all 12 teams. The teams with the worst records would have the best chances of aquiring the highest picks, however they would not be guaranteed a particular pick.

What is not clear about this?

12 teams are included, the worst record has the most ping pong balls, the 2nd worse has the 2nd most.

You are throwing a wrench into things with the 3 bottom teams being locked into the top 3 picks.

The NBA does not do a snake draft. We are just trying to determine a better way to draft than how we are currently doing it. I think that a weighted draft with all 12 teams is a good way of doing it.

Rock the vote!!

Are you voting no because you don't think it's better than the current way we draft, or because we aren't doing it your way? Just curious.

I think it could be better....my one single vote wont kill your shitty draft idea.

Since when is voting against a rule so frowned upon?

Sorry I am not a sheep.

I think you are taking it a little too personal, for whatever reason. I was just curious as to why you voted against it. I apologize.
