Redd - yeah, the draft order would snake, so whoever got the 1st pick would have the last pick in the 2nd.

OK.

If you guys don't like the 12-1 setup, we can do a custom style if someone has a better idea of determining the ping pong ball ratio. I would be fine with either way, and you see what pick it landed me.

I don't mind the 12-1 setup.

Use the exact percentages the NBA typically has in their lottery.

Finish Weighted Change NBA lotto chance
1 1% 0.70%
2 3% 0.80%
3 4% 1.10%
4 5% 2.20%
5 6% 2.30%
6 8% 5.30%
7 9% 5.30%
8 10% 8.80%
9 12% 13.70%
10 13% 13.80%
11 14% 19.90%
12 15% 25.00%

eta--1st column is final standings, 2nd column is the 1-12 balls % chance of hitting 1st pick, last column is the NBA %

Can you break that down into ping pong balls for each slot?

I'd be fine with this. Just the idea that i have a SHOT at one of these top picks makes it fair to me.

Yeah, I am a moron because you can't communicate with any type of clarity.

the percentages are almost identical Touls...just giving the worst team 12 balls.

I gave the top 4 teams more balls just to make it an even 100%. I had those same numbers you posted, but it's 11 balls short of an even 100%

Here are the results from Toula's numbers:

Pick 1: Redd

Pick 2: PCT

Pick 3: SFP

Pick 4: McCain

Pick 5: Toula

Pick 6: Rick

Pick 7: Gyno

Pick 8: Karma

Pick 9: Les

Pick 10: Will

Pick 11: Rondo

Pick 12: Knat

The crappy teams got most of the high picks, but SFP, who is the 2nd place team, STILL got the 3rd pick.

Are you voting no because you don't think it's better than the current way we draft, or because we aren't doing it your way? Just curious.

My response was..."It could be better" i.e. thats why I am voting no as it is now...because ITS NOT BETTER.
