as long as their are shitty teams and good teams, there will always be 2 sides to this argument

is there a website that would be able to do that? I think it would be pretty neat option to explore.

I had a shitty team, and I agree with him on some levels.

Hell, I am set to have the top pick and I would give it up this year to do a lottery, but it's not just my decision.

well this is the first time that we've had an equal number of shitty teams and good teams. might be time for a re-vote.

i think the weighted lottery makes a ton of sense. Way more sense than the my old just completely unweighted random draft order last time.

if only i knew it twere possible!

I would support a lottery in every league.

Well if me, you, and Toula agree on it I'm sure the rest of the league would be for it. We can put it to a vote if yall want to. We would need 3/4 of the league to vote for it to use it for our next draft.

always have had shitty teams, this season everyone just sold out early.

its just hard to re-vote on it. I am usually unbiased, but even i am telling myself, 'if i had a shitty team, i am all for worst to first'.

on the other hand, in the position i am in now, i would love for it to just be randomized.

Like I said, I would have the # 1 pick if the season ended today, and I am fine with doing a lottery.

down.

Lottory also takes away the, " I'll glady pay bottom feeder for the 1st pick" statement too!

Is it based upon record of actual finish?

Yep

If there is a tie in the standings I say head to head record should be the tie breaker.

TDBL is starting a lottery in 2012, but only for non-playoff teams.

I agree..as long as the odds of the champeen hitting the lotto are significantly lower than the non playoff teams.

We gotta make it full of drama too. Maybe have just the commish know the results and post a draft position every 5 minutes or so

I have had a good team every year in this league...I dont think drafting first has anything to do with success.

Although I dont feel that drafting a stud rookie is conducive to winning now...which is all I am interested in.
